Jason's Deli

My husband ordered the Plain Jane baked potato, which is not plain at all. The staff brought him extra butter at his request. As you can tell by the picture, it was huge! He ate it all, which is unusual for him. I had a bowl of the Chicken Pot Pie soup (?) which came with a big square of tender, flaky pastry. It really hit the spot. They have free soft serve ice cream, so we each had a little cone. It was nice. Many years ago, I didn't care for Jason's Deli, but they must have upped their game in recent years. Now I wish the one in Newport News was still open. I get Door Dash from here sometimes.

On 01/13/2026 I ordered 123.76 lunch. I ordered 3) Reubens W/chips, 1) Big Chef salad, 1) Plain Jane potato, 1) Pollo Mexican potat, 1) Kids chicken Tenders meal and 1) Chocolate chip cookie 🍪. Everything was so delicious 😋. Delivery service was outstanding by Mr. Johnathan! 🏆 Thank you for following my door instructions on ringing my door bell. My food order arrive 5min before expected time.. To all my 850,000 viewers please check this place out! 10 out of 10!

Ordered for pick up, food was ready and place was clean. Husband was impressed with the salad bars. Best sandwiches we have ever! Well worth the money. I had the beefeater (french dip) he had the reuben! Both were outstanding!

I'm rating this a one star for the terrible management; he had a major attitude and didn't care about keeping the environment clean. The front counter had roaches crawling everywhere and when we got home it tasted like the frosting on the cake was sour and tasted like tartare! It was like everything was expired plus it was our first time in there, was extremely excited to try until now and I definitely WILL be calling corporate.

We used to work in Chesapeake, Virginia, but retiring in Williamsburg there are no Jason’s close by. We decided to drive to Hampton to eat lunch. I lm glad we did, the server Derrick was very attentive and friendly. Great customer service skills.
