Jason's Deli

It’s been a minute since I’ve been to Jason’s Deli, especially with so many other restaurant options around these days. While visiting friends in Baytown and doing some Christmas Day shopping, we spotted this location and thought, why not give it a try? I was craving their Loaded Potatoes, but ended up going with the half sandwich, half soup combo instead. I chose the Chipotle Avocado Chicken sandwich and the chicken pot pie soup. Service was surprisingly fast—despite it being around lunchtime, there was only one other table near us. Once we placed our order, the food arrived in under five minutes. Came to have supper with our family and the service was great and the food was delicious! The potatoes were very well filled with ingredients and very tasty. The sandwich was assembled perfectly and was very fresh. The soup was very delicious as well. My little one was so fast with his pizza lol 10/10

I’ve been to Jason’s Deli before, but it had been a while. I was over in Baytown, so I decided to stop in. There’s plenty of parking since it’s located in a large shopping center. The staff were friendly, and there was plenty of seating inside. I went with the Manager’s Special, which includes a half sandwich, a soup, and chips, and it’s around $12–$14. One nice perk at Jason’s Deli is the free soft-serve ice cream. They have cones and offer vanilla, chocolate, and a vanilla-chocolate swirl. This time, though, the ice cream was a bit icy and watery. Usually it’s smooth and creamy, so that was a little disappointing—but it’s free, and I still appreciate that they offer it. For my soup, I chose the seafood gumbo. First time trying this place cause I hear so much about it and 13.49 I get a Beefeater thats cold in the middle of the meats and either the meat or the bread has a freezer burn taste to it. Shoulda went with my gut and stuck to jersey mikes or schlotzkies.

I had the grilled chicken salad. Very good portion. The staff is friendly and professional. Restraunt was clean and taken care of by what I seen a very hardworking young lady.
