Customer Reviews
Really good Mediterranean food! The kabobs were flavorful and cooked perfectly, and the hummus and rice were both excellent. The staff was friendly and made sure everything came out fast and fresh. Portions are big for the price, so you definitely get your money’s worth. Great local spot if you’re in the mood for kabobs or shawarma.
The waitress we had was welcoming, friendly and patient. The fresh mango juice was really good, it was made from fresh fruit and a must try. We got falafel and it was worth trying. The fries were fresh and crispy. Got the mixed kebab platter, it was a huge let down, it looked good but the the meat was very chewy, and eating that felt like a chore.
Unfortunately the food here was garbage. Been here a year ago. Ended up throwing up later that night. Decided to give it another shot a year later maybe it was a small food bug. Got the Mansaf, grape leaves, and hummus a try. Trash. Mansaf was horrendous, rice seemed old, beef was insanely cold and covered with this sauce that smelt really bad. Grape leaves the rice was chewy like gum. And the hummus was just in half an inch of straight oil. Would steer clear of this place. Wanted to support their business but can’t even provide decent just decent food.
I drove over two hours hoping to enjoy Mansaf, and I contacted the restaurant before coming to make sure it was available. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet my expectations. The taste of the food was not what I was hoping for, especially the rice and the Mansaf broth. The service was also quite slow. After the meal, we ordered a Spanish latte that was listed at $5, but we were charged a different amount at checkout. I believe that being honest with customers is always appreciated. If a specific dish is not prepared well, it would be better to recommend another option instead. I truly hope this feedback helps improve the experience in the future.
One of our favorites in Charlotte. The service is amazing. The food is good. We usually hangout at this spot. The mint tea is good. The fries are amazing. They do have hookah and is really good. I love the sides and the sauces here. Baba ganoush and hummus are just too good. A guilt free food place for calorie counters.
