Japomen Vienna

I went here with my sisters and found the place empty. I was confused as to why, as I later found the food to be great! I had ordered the halal chicken ramen and added spice. It was warm, yummy and the chicken was seasoned amazingly. I ordered the edamame, and for 6.50 I expected a little more than what I got. I enjoyed the self serve water dispenser. I am giving a 4 - star review because my sister had ordered separately (she got the same thing) and her broth was very bland. As someone who does not have halal options near them, this was great!

What started as a growing interest in sushi has turned into a genuine love, all thanks to Japomen! This is my go-to spot for sushi in the DMV area and it never disappoints. Consistently delicious and hands down the best comfort food.

Overall, I'd give this place 5.5/10. I wasn't expecting much tbh 😅 The food is just mid tasting. Ramen broth was decent, but the pork slices were chewy (overcooked) and could've used much more flavor. And we waited 45 min for our food...(yes, I timed it) 😭 I just wanted to try it to get it over with cause I knew it'd be average, so now I can check it off my list and never go back lol ✅️ Japomen? More like Japomid 😭

Food was ok but not very special. We had sushi, ramen, and chicken. I would say it is average. Price is reasonable.

So good!!! And so many different things to choose from, all very fresh and flavorful tasting fish. Beef Broth/pho was so delicious. The hand rolls are great and everything is plated and presented so beautifully. Everyone working there was super nice and helpful, lots of big booth seating and very calm atmosphere, definitely worth a trip.
