Janssen Park Place B&B

I was here to attend the city’s annual cycling event ‘Wheel A Mena’ which was super fun! This B&B was also super convenient, located just beside the start area for the event. The hosts, John and Jo, were very kind and were very accommodating, adjusting their schedule to fit with my event. Also their master of the house poodle ‘Cool’ was very friendly and adorable! If I come back for this event in the future I will definitely stay here again!

We had a fabulous time visiting Mena and staying with John, his wife and his dog, Cool. The cottage was well equipped, bed was very comfortable, lots of options for tv watching. The location is great - easy walk or drive to several restaurants, a neat little ice cream shop and Janssen Park, which had a nice playground, pond and space to walk and jog. Neighborhood was safe and quiet and the cottage was clean and comfy. We will definitely be back!

Would highly recommend! We really enjoyed our recent stay, John & Jolynn went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed! Our room was spacious and the king bed made for a great night's rest. Ample amenities, awesome breakfast, a beautiful view of the city park across the street, oh, and the best dog was icing on the cake!

We have family in Mena and have been visiting for years but this is the first time we've stayed at Janssen Place but you can be assured it won't be our last. We stayed in the cottage and it was clean and comfortable. The breakfasts John prepared were wonderful. We so enjoyed his company as we ate. He is so very knowledgeable about the area. Hope to be back in August.

My wife and I decided to take a last-minute motorcycle trip to Mena. Janssen Park had great reviews, boasting a perfect 10 out of 10 on Expedia, so we were glad we booked it. We arrived around 5 PM and found John sitting on the wraparound porch waiting for us. He upgraded us to the bungalow since there were no other guests at the time. We really enjoyed our stay. John drove us to town for some delicious pizza and made an exceptional breakfast of German pancakes. He is super friendly and easy to talk to. Thanks again, John! We look forward to our next stay with you.
