Janin House

We had a lovely evening at Janin House for my nonprofit’s annual Holiday Party in December! For our community group of architects, interior designers, and creative women - the carefully curated design of each room in Janin House was truly appreciated. Hollie & Leah were amazing hosts. We had everything we could have possibly needed. 10 stars! We highly recommend!

Janin House is a total gem. Held my husband's 40th birthday party there and it was magical. The space strikes the perfect balance between comfortable and fancy, and is the perfect party setting! The hosts went above and beyond to make sure it was a super special night. We held the party then my husband and I spent the night there, it was so nice to lazily wake up and have coffee in the sun room after a super fun night with our friends. Seriously, just BOOK IT - it's lovely and wonderful.

The stay overnight at Janin House was the perfect respite to a weekend attending Festival International in nearby Lafayette. The house is very well appointed and furnished. The beds were very comfortable and the owners were so easy to work with. The covered space and the back yard were absolutely perfect for a small post-festival celebration with family and friends. Modern amenities while taking a step back in time create the perfect environment for a relaxing stay whether it’s one night or a week long visit to Acadiana. Janin felt like home. For those who need to work while traveling, internet was reliable and easy to connect to.

I live in town and was able to book the Janin House to host an event. The owners were so helpful and the home was a perfect location for a birthday party. Would recommend hosting an event here to anyone!
