Omg its about time Rutland got some good food in town 😭 y'all better thank and bless this man he's sent from God himself this food is so good, from the plantains to the potato salad!! Even the rice and beans are delicious. I took a bite and couldn't stop eating it. It's not too spicy either, perfectly tailored for these new England palates. Thank you, good sir, for the work you do.

Finally, I tried this food truck today after driving past so many times. I am so happy that I did! The good was AMAZING! We had the oxtail and jerk chicken, and one was better than the other. The meals come with a lot. I had a ginger lemonade to drink that was so good and refreshing. I love ginger, and that spice fills my soul! Can't wait to go back! I took our food to go, but they do have a table set up under a tent to sit at and be out of the sun.

I was passing through, looking for a good lunch spot, and came across Jamerican. I was intrigued by the good reviews. It was my first time trying Jamaican food, so the owner suggested the jerk chicken - and wow, it was absolutely amazing! The chicken was juicy, smoky, and full of flavor, and the sides (rice, beans, plantains, and salad) made it a perfect combo. It was so good that I actually went back right after to grab their oxtail meal for dinner. It was interesting to learn that oxtail originally came from using the tail of beef that people used to throw away, which eventually became a delicious traditional dish. Food was incredible! The jerk chicken had awesome flavor and was super juicy and tender. The sides were very flavorful as well. Heaping portions, amazing food, and more than reasonable prices. $13 for this amount and quality of food is insane, especially in this area. The owners are from Jamaica and the food feels very authentic. Very nice people as well. Highly recommend!

MUST GO. We enjoyed everything and it’s probably Some of the best chicken you can find in town. If you’re newer to the cuisine I recommend trying the brown stew chicken - it’s deliciously seasoned and well cooked chicken in a stew sauce with rice and peas, steamed vegetables and plantains on the side. If they have fresh juice available don’t even hesitate, order it. Very friendly folks and convenient to either grab and go or eat at a table outside. We normally eat at the standard other places around town but Jamerican was a refreshing surprise of island cuisine.
