Amazing presence the servers give. The food is so tender, flavorful, and out right probably the best I have had in Georgia. While ordering, my server told me how it is done, what was inside, and served. The picture added is what I had, very filling, and very at home.
I had the pleasure of trying this cuisine at the food truck festival this weekend in pooler and it was a perfect choice. The food was absolutely delicious and seasoned to perfection. The best part was finding out this is a local spot, and now I have a new spot to go to for oxtails and plantains!! Definitely give them a try you will not be disappointed
I can't say enough good things about JamaicaTaste! This place is the real deal, serving up authentic Jamaican food that will truly blow you away. The flavors are absolutely incredible—rich, complex, and comforting—without being overwhelming with spicy heat. The owner was so friendly and welcoming, and their recommendation was spot-on. I went with the brown stew chicken, which was fall-off-the-bone tender and coated in the most delicious, savory gravy. The cabbage, which included carrots, was a perfect complement, cooked to perfection and adding a nice flavor dynamic to the meal. But the star of the show for me were the fried dumplings. They were so good I could have eaten them all on their own! However, dipping them into that amazing brown stew gravy took them to another level entirely.
Customer service was amazing. The atmosphere was really cool. It felt like a Mom and pop shop/hole in the wall for sure. The guy was extremely friendly. The food came out very hot and fast. But the food did seem to be lacking in flavor. The oxtail was extremely tender though But the mac & cheese, rice and beans and jerk chicken left some fruit to be desired in the department. Mac & cheese was dry And the jerk chicken tasted like normal barbecue with a little heat. I would honestly read it a little bit lower, but the customer service in the environment was extremely extremely good And you can tell the Guy loves his job, The food and each person walks in the doors.
I had the pleasure eating their curry chicken, rice and beans, and cabbage from the food truck yesterday. It was absolutely yummy! The chicken was moist and tender and side made fresh. The spice was just right and the potions size was ample. Customer was top tier! I would experience them again!
