Jalapeños Mexican Grill II

The place was very clean and bright. Was expecting a dimmer environment for late night dining. The specials were extremely tasty and the service was great. The waiter had a great sense of humor and was cracking jokes the whole night. The prickly pear margarita was quite unique and delicious.

If you're passing through on the freeway, highly recommend this place, easy on of the highway plus there's a gas station across the parking lot. The food was delicious. Ranchero burrito was smoky with the red sauce, a little spicy with the jalapenos (but you can skip them). The quesabirria was excellent, and the Huarache was a great surprise. Just good decent food, fresh made, fast. They look like they get busy, and maybe a little short staffed. But service was helpful and sincere. The decor was top notch. There's a full bar and lots of TVs to watch sports.

Food is excellent each time I have went. They do use a lot of Jalapenos in most of the dishes and it's spicy. I had to pick mine out. Music is loud but expected. Plenty of seating and is enjoyable.

Best table side guac we've had at a Mexican restaurant. All of the food was delicious and fresh. Octopus ceviche was very filling and flavorful. The staff were friendly and bathrooms were clean. Restaurant layout was a little congested.

Whole family enjoyed their meals. I tried the Jhoanas Tuna Tostadas from the seasonal menu and it was fabulous. Daughter doesn't care for Mexican dishes and they have steak options that she was able to choose. Gray menu with options.
