Jalapeño’s Mexican Bar & Grill

My daughter flew into town to join us for a week's vacation and after arriving we went here for dinner. The food was amazing, everything from the freshly made chips and salsa to the huge portions of dinner entrees. Our orders came out very quickly and piping hot. The food was absolutely delicious, as was the service. We would very highly recommend to everyone who loves authentic Mexican food. We took home as much as we ate!

This Mexican restaurant absolutely lived up to their name! When we sat down, we were presentented with not only a spicy salsa but an avocado salsa dip as well. *Disclaimer- IT IS SPICY! Spicy and delicious! We then ordered our main courses, which were the loaded fajitas and smothered chicken. Both were incredible. The fajitas came with a side of beans (pinto, I think) that were to die for! Surprisingly, they were the star of the meal for me! The service was outstanding and we will be stopping by again before heading home!

Good Mexican food. My dish was fresh and very tasty. Generous portions too. A return visit is in order.

This place was great! Come in, seat yourself and order some great food! I opted for the Molcajete! It was hot from the first bite to the last. My only suggestion is it would have been nice to have ambient music playing while we ate. Except for the conversations and restaurant noise, it was kind of quiet. I'm not a real fan of hearing myself or others chew. Did I mention the Molcajete was awesome?!
