Jalapeño restaurant

This is a new restaurant that opened in our town. There are few tables available for dining in, but mostly it’s for takeout. Very clean and organized. The menu has so many of the popular Mexican items like tacos, tortas, enchiladas, quesadillas, burritos and some appetizers. I went to the restaurant during lunch hours to grab some tacos. I ordered the Birria combo. I had to wait about 10 minutes to get the order. There were 3 tacos in it, filled with lots of delicious shredded beef. There was a huge cup of birria sauce (consome) as well. Tacos were fried, so dipping them in the consome made the tacos soft and delicious. Overall I liked the size, price and taste of the tacos. I wish if menu had the option to mix match tacos, that way I could have tried several other ones.

The food was very good . Good portions. The Chicken quesadilla were delicious . The grilled chicken is seasoned nicely. Carne asada bowl was excellent..

Really good Mexican restaurant. Possibly the best I’ve had in the area. The chicken quesadilla was packed with flavor, made with quality ingredients, and very filling. The homemade chips and guacamole were delicious and freshly made. I can’t believe I waited so long to try this place. This will definitely be our regular Mexican spot from now on. Must visit.

Excellent. This new restaurant serves next level Mexican food. I’ve tried many Mexican restaurants and many of them just go through the motions with the same old “Mexican” cliches… Not here, each dish is inspired, the ingredients are well selected, preparation is what it should be. The dishes are beautiful and delicious. The owners are lovely people and I look forward to eating here in the future.

I stopped by Jalapeño Restaurant in Dumont and was seriously impressed. The burrito I had was one of the best I’ve ever tasted—perfectly seasoned, generously filled, and wrapped just right. Everything was super fresh, and the flavors were bold without being overpowering. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the service was quick, even during a busy time. You can tell they take pride in what they’re serving. I’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu. Highly recommend if you’re craving authentic and flavorful Mexican food!
