This was our second time eating here and it was great! The first time was as well of course. The food is great, the hostess is so friendly and helpful, she always makes sure you have everything you need. She was there both times we ate there and is one of the reasons we had to come back. The restaurant has a hometown dinner feel to it. We moved to Charlottesville back in last October and we just recently decided to give this place a try and we are grateful we did. It’s now our favorite local establishment.

My parents came to visit me and I took them here since the food is delicious and my mom had been craving a foot long hot dog. I did notice as we were leaving not one person up front said bye or merry Christmas as they had the other customers who left before us. The other customers were white and we are not. I really hope that wasn’t the case but it wasn’t like they were busy as we were the only ones in there when we left.

Stopped by for lunch and tried their Ruben and cheese fries. Good sandwich, but will skip the fries next time. This place a great hot dogs, but remember to bring your cash and they charge for refills.

Great little restaurant, parking is tight, ( especially in back) but food was well worth it. Had the triple club, they bring you a ton of fries , next time will definitely try a footlong hot dog, lots of locals eat here seems like. Small dining area but the food is delicious.
