Very quaint hole in the wall. Staff was extremely friendly. We purchased 8 different items to get a feel for the different foods they offered. First we got a pot of tea followed by hot and sour and wonton soup. These came with a bowl of crunchy rice crackers and dipping sauces. The bowls of soup were unbelievably huge, as in half a quart each. The next course consisted of egg and spring rolls, and steamed dumplings. Both types of rolls were good but consisted mainly of cabbage. Not much flavor though they reminded me of a crispy cabbage perogie. The dumplings on the other hand were enormous, perfectly steamed, and we're stuffed with the best quality ingredients. They were the best streamed dumplings I've eaten in decades. I’m not usually the type to write restaurant reviews because I believe taste is subjective. However, when it comes to American Chinese food, there are a few “baseline” dishes that make it easy to judge a place—so I always order the same items: sweet and sour pork, fried rice, and spring rolls. Bottom line: this is one of the best and most affordable Chinese restaurants in the Pittsburgh area. A lot of nearby spots serve “fried rice” that feels like plain steamed rice with a bit of coloring and barely any egg or ingredients. The fried rice here is the real deal—traditional-style, well-balanced, and packed with eggs and fresh ingredients. It was genuinely satisfying. The listings consists of fairly common familiar Americanized dishes, even the Chef Specials section of the menu. 🤩 The Shrimps Snow Peas is incredibly bright green, aromatic and flavorful. Loved this place! Very clean and updated. The owners are kind and personable. Lunch crowd is minimal in this plaza. Take-out is thriving. The beef was far superior than Lin’s Garden and the broccoli had the perfect crunch. Not to fancy of a meal for me but the options are endless with special requests available. Low-sodium, fried or not fried etc…

Good flavors, huge portions, good price. I got chicken lo mein, gen tso’s w white rice, and hot and sour soup. We will be going back!!!
