Jackson's Station

Members of our "church family" suggested my husband and I visit Jackson's Station and try their fried chicken (my husband's favorite). The food there is the BEST! They DO make the best fried chicken. I had their chicken salad sandwich and it's the best I've ever had (and I've eaten a lot of chicken salad over the years). The staff there are SO friendly and make you feel right at home. We are DEFINITELY coming back👍👍👍👍's!!!

Jackson's Chicken was great! We had the COB, with slaw and tots. Everything was freshly made to order. The COB sauce was house-made and tasty. I added the jalapenos on the sandwich which made it even better. The building is old and needs work but the tables and chairs were clean. The staff was friendly and helpful with the menu. The staff told us they were moving to a new location since their current building was needing so much repair. I highly recommend the COB sandwich (chicken on bread). The chicken was juicy and the breading was crunchy. It was perfect!

Chicken is cooked perfectly! We had chicken strips, and the spicy chicken sandwich! The spicy sauce was delicious also! The desserts all looked amazing, but I chose the Banana pie!

It wasn’t bad, but I don’t get the hype I’ve heard. I had the chicken on a bun with onion rings, and they were okay. The building is not in very good shape; several ceiling tiles are missing or damaged and there are stains on the walls.

We loved the food, the staff and atmosphere! We were on a road trip in search of home cooking and boy did we find it here! Best collard greens I've ever had! Their Fried chicken is outstanding as well!! Definitely worth the jaunt off the beaten path!
