Jackson's Soul Food Redefined

I had the fried pork chop dinner. The pork as good good flavor, but the mack and cheese was mid at best. And I feel like the yams were canned. Otherwise the protein was great.

I'm just now finding out about JSFR and I've patronize this business two days in a row. The Cashier that took my order both times, is really nice and friendly. I asked a lot of questions and she didn't get irritated with me at all. Jackie was hearing our conversation and she came out to meet me and converse with me. I really appreciated that. I got a turkey leg with Mac and yams today and whew... It is scrumptious. The fried ribs are outstanding. It's a very clean atmosphere. Jackie is very kind and sweet. She's all about making sure you get a bang for your bucks. The prices are very decent and the customer service is fantastic.

Food was mid. I got the smothered pork chops with macaroni and cheese and candied yam/sweet potatoes. Yam were a 10/10!!! Mac and cheese was a 6/10. Chops, gravy, and rice 3/10. I wanted to try the green but they were sold out. I may go back to try they or I may try the other location. The staff was friendly and accommodating. They are the reason I may give the spot another try... and the YAMS!

Ordered smothered pork chops (comes with rice), greens, yams, and two cornbread muffins via DoorDash for pickup. Beware, there is an upcharge when ordering via DoorDash. Greens and yams were on 1,000 😋😋. Everything else I could've passed on.....

They were out A few items! Small inside, was clean from inside looks like, the cashier gal was ok! I figured I try to support our blacks business ect! The food was ughh ,fish dinner I brought, was Small pieces 2 & the mac had bla funny taste, the yams was ight. Oh & you must have the excaly amount cash 🙃 or credit/debit card. Which i was planning on paying with cash instead of my card.
