Jackson Street Guest House

Jackson House is 10 out of 10 for vacation rentals. We've stayed there several times and it meets our needs for home away from home. The space is ample, including front and back porches, for the Southern feel. The main sleeping quarters have a king sized bed with comfy sheets and pillows. The kitchen has fun snacks, coffee options, and breakfast treats. Every area is perfectly clean with welcoming character. The screened in back porch with ceiling fan is wonderful for late night relaxation and early morning coffee. Hosts are extremely responsive and accommodating.

I like to stay at a lot of bed and breakfasts on my work travels if I can get a good deal. I also like to support local businesses. The Jackson Street Guest House is one of the best places I've stayed. The room is huge and has loads of charm. Things were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Great value for the money.

I come to Franklin Parish a lot for genealogy research and with the location directly across from the courthouse, it's perfect. Beyond that, this is the most beautifully decorated house, with a large comfortable king bed that you never want to leave! The breakfast is homemade and wonderful. Fridge is stocked with snacks and drinks. Incredible value. It would be a wonderful spot for a romantic getaway.

A reservation for the smaller Queen suite was perfect. There is a room with sofa and TV and an area with Microwave and coffee maker and snacks and fridge w/ cold drinks provided. The bed room is separated by a door-also has a TV. Good queen bed. The bath is room is a nice size.||All of this is beautifully decorated. Even the show curtain holders were artfully used.||Very safe location and worth the few minutes off I-20. ||Good value for the $$$.

The attention to detail (I am sure that comes from Lindy) is perfect. The history behind it was enjoyable to read and learn. I can’t believe I was so lucky to stumble on to this place when looking for lodging in Winnsboro.
