Jacks

Took my parents out to dinner. Everything was great. We ordered southwest egg rolls for appetizers. My dad ordered the meatloaf, it was a huge piece and looked incredible. My mom and I got the country fried chicken with squash casserole. The chicken was so crispy and delicious. I might need that casserole recipe and my husband got the catfish. He cleaned his plate!! Also had the turtle cheesecake for dessert. It was a HUGE slice, had to take that home with me!

We stopped by Jack’s for a late lunch, it had been about a year since our last visit, and it was just as good as we remembered! The food and service were both great, and the laid-back atmosphere made it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy our meal.

Food was great as always! We went to dinner with another couple. We had (in order of what I liked best first) Steak salad, Jack’s melt, Crab cake meal, Cuban sandwich. One of the best things is the homemade salad dressings and fresh ingredients. Service was a little slow (and they were busy) or I would have given a 5. We will definitely be back.

Sort of a small place but they gladly and quickly shuffled things around to seat our party of 11. The waitresses were absolutely amazing and sooo friendly. Everyone’s food was really good…no, Outstanding. We went on Monday …Italian Night…it was way better that Olive Garden…seriously. You gotta try this place. The prices were also amazingly reasonable. And you will have leftovers. I had Chicken Parmesan on a bed of spaghetti and really meaty sauce. It was like 2 meals. Spent about $42 for 2 meals….no drinks.

Definitely can tell this is a local gem. Driving through the area looking for dinner this menu caught our eye, lots of familiar dishes for our party of 6 to choose from. By far the best food we have eaten out of our entire vacation, and the friendliest staff around! Bit of a wait due to limited seating but well worth it! Portions were also so large we needed a Togo bag! Definitely able to get a meal to share. Also a great atmosphere with the bar setting, inexpensive large drink selection! Our waitress name was Kim, she was patient and kind. Very nice to my kids when they ordered and gave them the chance to order. We got some of the best steaks we ever had before!
