Jack's Drive In

Preface to say: In my opinion, a 5 Star rating is reserved for things that exceed my expectations. This was our first time eating at Jack's. We happened to drive past it and decided to give it a try. From the outside, it was clean, colorful, and inviting, especially with the Valentine's decorations on the windows. While it is a drive-in, orders need to be placed inside. As we entered, we found a very small lobby, with a large digital menu board, and t o cashiers. The menu options are expansive and there is something for everyone. As a spouse of a combat veteran, I appreciated the 2 side doors. The lobby has two metal benches for customers choosing to wait inside. My spouse ordered the Cowboy Burger. I’ve driven past Jack’s so many times since we moved to Caldwell, and it’s always been a place I wanted to try. It absolutely delivered. The burgers were great, the onion rings were fantastic, and what makes it even better is that they have fry sauce, which means you can dunk everything you order. The employees were awesome and the whole vibe is just fun. Pulling up, ordering, and eating in your car felt like being a kid again. Highly recommend.

Preface: I contacted the company prior to writing this review with no response. The place is fine, although I do find the large screen TV with bright lights really tough to read and overwhelming because you're so close to it. There are so many options, it feels hard to get through. The kids behind the counter were kind, albeit it felt a little unprepared for their job. The food was fine, but expensive for what you get. Unfortunately, they didn't have some gluten free buns we ordered or curly fries, we asked for a refund and it was serious meltdown mode. We got some money back for the difference in fries, but we still didn't get money back for buns. At $1.99+tax each, this adds up quickly. I had a great experience at Jack’s Drive-in! The two girls working, Amber and Sam, were amazing! They were both extremely kind, and made my order quickly. The food was delicious. Definitely coming back!

First time trying Jack’s having driven by several times. We went on Friday and it was a busy time, but we got good service as they were busy. Had to place an order inside . The menu offered good selection of burgers and chicken sandwiches. We got 2 of the bacon cheeseburger meal. Had Jack sauce on both hamburgers, and the sauce was runny. The cheeseburger was cooked fresh per order but the quality of the burger could be better. Fries were good. With just 2 meals ended up paying almost $30 with large drinks and large fries for the larger option upgrade. We will return though to try the shakes and another meal for sure.
