Jackie's Latin Kitchen

I can't believe this restaurant has been around for 2 years and I haven't heard about it. Everything I ordered was delicious. The shrimp mofongo had at least 8 large shrimp and the sauce was phenomenal. A little different than what I am used to eating shrimp mofongo but wow was it good. The sauce was a little creamy which really added to the flavor of the dish. It came with a small side salad which had real greens (not iceberg) and the dressing was excellent. Finally, I got a side order of chicharron (pork) which is sold by weight, and it was also delicious and it had a very slight seasoning which slightly but noticeably added to the flavor. And it was cooked perfectly. The skin was crispy without it being overlooked. I have found my new "go-to" place here in Middletown for Latin cuisine

I love not only the food but the great lady behind the food. Jackie is so nice and humble. She makes me feel like I'm back at my grandma's house in PR . The food is always fresh everything made in house and the tres de Leche is incredible. I know it's just a gas station but magic is being made in this establishment. You want authentic, fresh food. This is the place to go ..

First things first, the place is inside a gas station. So yes you have arrived at the right spot. I've only tried the empanadas but (most of the time when they are not soggy) they are delicious and reasonably priced. Service is nice and quick.

Jackie makes the best food period. Doesn’t take shortcuts and the empanadas are hand made and not just heated up out of a box. The orange hot sauce is a must try…. BEST TAKE OUT IN MIDDLETOWN

Jackie is the epitome of a hostess/chef. Every time my family and I eat here, we feel at home. Not only is the food reasonably priced & delicious but the service is awesome. I don't think there is a better place in Orange County to get Latin food. You're definitely missing out if you haven't tried this spot. Nice, quiet and low key spot with a nice atmosphere.
