Jack Russell Memorial Library

I love this place! Everyone is so nice, the library is spacious and up-kept, and the environment is stunning. I love that they offer craft kits and craft events and I love the activity passes that can be checked out. Ive always liked this library, but seeing other libraries in the area really makes me appreciate how wonderful this place really is

Today was my first visit to the library since relocating to Hartford. What a beautiful library. The front desk staff were so friendly, organized and helpful. I used a computer on the second level where I needed to print off something for a project, and the staff person was so helpful also. There are so many excellent spaces in this library. I'll definately be returning.

The staff here is amazing! 😍 They are so good with the kids. They help the kids and adults. Love all the programs. Can't say enough good things about this library. I was surprised to find this after living in Waukesha county. This is definitely a hidden treasure out here.

We moved to Hartford nearly 3 years ago and it wasn’t u til this past year that we finally got our library cards. The library staff here is AWESOME beyond measure! Huge selection of books, movies, games, comics… one of the most expansive selections of the 4 libraries I’ve had a pleasure to be a member of through the years. The facilities are beautiful. Plenty of books and crannies to cozy up, study rooms, puzzles, terraces and more. View over the millpond is an added bonus! Frequent activities for the kids and some for adults. Book sales, and so so much more. The BEST part of my library card is that you will have free access to the Libby and Hoopla apps! They also use Monarch2Go app for all things physical library such as renewals and title searches.

Love this library so much I could honestly go on and on 🤣 New to the area and have only been here a few times. Got my library card today and the woman working the desk was so helpful and informative, telling me absolutely everything I might have needed to know. I wish I could remember her name to thank her but she was middle aged with short graying hair. She made me even more excited about becoming a member of the library. I love the passes they offer to different things like the zoo and museums and the options to visit other area libraries but be able to return the books to Hartford. Amazing selection for adults and kids. A new weekly/Saturday hangout for myself and my two kids.
