J & J Chinese Cafe

Was takeout only when we went. If you go inside you'll see why. It is rundown and needs a lot of renovating. Hopefully they can make that happen one day. The lady was blunt but helpful. We ordered 2 special combinations. One was beef and broccoli, sweet and sour chicken, and an egg roll. The other same but Mongolian beef. Unfortunately the Mongolian beef wasn't very good, lacking flavor and really salty. Same situation with the beef and broccoli. The breaded chicken was kinda soggy if not an oil sponge unfortunately. I didn't like my food, was typical low quality American Chinese that comes frozen I think.

Empty place, but delicious food. We were sad at first that they didn’t have an evening buffet but our food was really good.

Ended up canceling my order. Only went here because the Crazy Asian was closed. Very depressing inside. I was the only one among may tables and most lights out. She said my dish would take 20 minutes. Why? “You want to cancel order?”. That is a good idea, thanks.

Bad quality food, hot and sour soup has only tofu in it, no carrots, no sea weed, no mushrooms, no any kind of meat, absolutely disgusting! Chicken nuggets are made out of some sponge when you split them in half, definitely not a real chicken. Prices just like at any good Chinese restaurant except that this restaurant is not good at all!

Great food! Clean quiet atmosphere. Fast friendly service. Orange chicken, General Tao Chicken, fried dumplings, and hot & sour soup are all great. Some of the best we've had.
