What a quaint, warm atmosphere! My husband & I stopped by for a breakfast date just the two of us & we were not disappointed. The service was inviting, the coffee was hot & refills kept flowing, & the food was absolutely delicious. Fresh & hot, big portion sizes for a great price! We can’t wait to bring our three children back to join us next time, it was such a family friendly atmosphere. This will be our go to breakfast spot in Lebanon for now on!
We recently ordered a cake for my mom's 80th birthday and wanted something special. My sister and I coordinated with Nicole and she handled all of our special requests -and back and forth :) Our cake was beautiful (like our mama!) and tasted AMAZING! Nicole was great to work with and we couldn't have been happier with our cake!
We have been eating here for years under the old owners and really enjoyed the food, staff, atmosphere. Once new owners took over, food is still good, but atmosphere is not friendly and service is slow. Not long after new owners took over, I took my 4 year old and friend for breakfast. He was sitting quietly at the kid’s table coloring- within my sight. The owner grabbed a coloring sheet and crayons and escorted him back to my table. Very strange and unnecessary. We went back today for breakfast. We were acknowledged by the owner but never served after several minutes so we got up and left. Will not return.
I had their chicken salad on crescent roll with a cup of tomato soup. It was very good. The portion of chicken salad was particularly generous. I also got a couple of butter cookies that I very much enjoyed. I'll be going again.
We just moved to town and thought we'd give J Clayborn's a try. I ordered sausage, eggs and a biscuit. It was good, and a fair price. My wife's croissant breakfast, however, had mold on the bottom of the croissant. Cook should have caught this before it ever hit the plate. Not the server's fault, and she was kind enough to comp our meal. A+ for customer service and local diner atmosphere, but had to take off some stars for our first meal being moldy.
