J Bird Smoked Meats

J Bird overall is good. However the restaurant is far too inconsistent with quality while charging high prices for what you get. I've been going here since it used to be known as Yard Bird and the quality in food and service has definitely gone downhill. The service at J Bird is the worst I've ever experienced and it is like this consistently. The brisket, ribs, chili and onion rings are good as are the bacon dog pit beans. Sauce selection is also good. Overall, the food is good but it tends to be a gamble on the quality each day.

I traveled as a contract pilot for many years, and enjoyed BBQ at many locations. J Bird will not be a repeat eating restaurant. Ordered the meat sampler with onion rings and the beans. I'm a person that would like a restaursnt to provide food that's appealing and good. Once the tray hit the table, I was dissapointed. The corn bread, sausage, and mimosa were good. However, the beans were dried out and crusted. The pulled pork was very dry. The brisket was also very dry. It does have a good selection of sauces.

Thoroughly excellent food and service! One of my favorite BBQ places. Prices are very reasonable as well! We like to get their family style meal where you get 5 different kinds of meats and 4 sides. The smoked chicken wings are awesome! The drinks here are great too, and they have outdoor seating.

I said GOT DAMN!! If you are wanting THE BEST bbq in the nation, then you need to hit this joint up!!! Not only is the food unbelievably good, the service is also much appreciated! Jeremy, the owner, will 100% make the experience amazing! Seriously, some of the best food and service I have ever experienced in this industry!! Delicious BBQ restaurant with a cool atmosphere and friendly staff. The brisket was flavorful and well portioned. My friend had the Memphis Hot Chicken which was awesome and the sides were outstanding too. Excellent draught beer selection also
