Edit: I originally wrote this review in 2021. Four years later we've still been relying on JB Jones for our son's birthday treats. Last year we requested a Spiderman cake and it was so good he had a meltdown when we started cutting him up to eat. 😅 This year we're going with a web cake and a toy Spidey on top. Original review below: This little shop came through for us with some delicious cakes and cupcakes when we decided to celebrate a birthday while visiting Lake Gaston. I called in and reserved two pre-made half cakes to pick up a few hours later and they wrote a little birthday message with icing too. Everything here is incredibly good!! They have every flavor of cake you can think of, and many you can't think of. Their Trilogy cake has a layer of lemon, key lime and strawberry with a buttercream frosting SO GOOD, fresh and stayed moist for days!! The prices are very reasonable. The frosting in the pic looks a little wonky but it was due to keeping it out on a very hot day. Also pictured are the red velvet cupcakes with buttercream frosting. Their ham biscuits and pimento cheese are also delicious. Always happy to support this small business!!

The special order cake for our work luncheon was perfect! It was exactly what we asked for and the cake was moist and delicious! This small bakery is much appreciated!

My wife's birthday was coming up. I wanted a cake or similar but didn't want the same ol' grocery store blah cake. In my Google search for bakeries with homemade items, these folks popped up. I've lived in the area (45 minutes) all my life and never heard of them! How, I don't know.glad I found them. Cool little store with dozens of cakes, pies and complete with a friendly staff. I got a key lime cake and coconut cake. Really good. I'll surely be back.

One of my favorite places on Earth. The ham rolls are absolute heaven and there’s more cakes and pies than you could ever imagine there. The Five Flavor Pound Cake is the best.
