I’m from Ohio. There’s much in Ann Arbor that I like. I like Izzy’s. Easily the best cheesesteak I’ve ever had. I have had my fair share of cheesesteaks in my life, the best cheesesteak. Go to Izzys if you get the chance.

Been coming here for decades now and I can confidently say this is my favorite cheesesteak in the world, and yes I’ve been to Philly at least a dozen times. The staff are awesome, food is made to order, there’s just something special about this place to me. I crave these sandwiches and will come anytime they’re open and I’m in Ann Arbor. Only thing that’d make it better is if they were open on Sundays so I could indulge any day of the week.

Izzy’s Hoagie Shop is hands-down the best cheesesteak in town and a true westside staple. I’ve been coming here for about 15 years, and it’s consistently excellent every single time. The cheesesteaks are packed with flavor, cooked perfectly, and never disappoint. This is one of those places you keep coming back to because it’s just that good. If you’re on the west side and haven’t been to Izzy’s yet, you’re missing out.

My boyfriend and I stopped in here on vacation. It was amazing. The food is excellent and the staff is so nice. The restaurant was closing and they waited to close until we were finished eating. I love the atmosphere. Such a great place! Highly recommend. It will be a place we come back to every time we visit there.
