Ixtapa Hermiston

The food, it’s ok. We went twice there, for dinner and breakfast, and I think is overpriced. The atmosphere is alright. It has an American vibe on it. They do their corn tortillas from scratch which is awesome. Their mango margarita is good, but honestly the food is alright. They serve big portions but they are mostly beans and rice. And they pico de gallo has coleslaw on it, which I find weird and not good.

Best thing about this place is the vibe of the establishment. The food wasn’t hot more barely warm, lacked seasoning and taste, and also lacked quality. The service was not friendly from the time i entered to the time i left. I was met with no hello or nice greeting rather than a cold escort to my table and a not welcoming attitude during my whole time here. The best thing about this restaurant was the strawberry milkshake I got out of all things lol. Don’t waste your time or money here.

I Just love the family oriented atmosphere at Ixtapa. From the beginning the service was great. Suggestions were made for drinks and desert. After I placed the order the service was a bit slower then usual but not to slow. The food carnee asada is on point.

Very good food, nice waiters very attentive. The food was very nicely served. We were told of this place by a friend of ours and we came to try it out. Do not regret it loved it here

We are visiting for my husbands work. He loves this place so we came. I am super picky. I asked for all my items on the side. I asked for an extra crispy chimichanga. It was so unbelievably good! The rice isn’t as tasty as the Ixtappa in Dallas but it’s comparable. The waitress were ALLLLL really sweet and kind. We will absolutely be back!
