Ivar's Seafood Bar

Would've been 5 stars across the board if they can offer the combos with the drink included in the price already. Adding another 3.25 for a drink puts you at 20 and over per meal depending on what meal you get, thats crazy work for me. Other than that it was pretty good. Also, please add lemon wedges to the order, seafood needs some lemon 🍋 on it. 🫡

We usually go to the Kirkland location but today we decided to stop the Ivars in Bothell and everything was a five star, the fresh crisp fish, crisp fries, very courteous and engaged cashier girl, she even gave us two kids crackers AND brought us hand wipes to our table. The place is clean. It was very sweet.

My fish and chips were alright, but a little bit over cooked (to be honest) - 4 pieces of deliciousness were delivered nonetheless. However, that doesn't mean that the experience was not enjoyable. The service team was great, they took our order and our food came out in a timely manner. The restaurant was clean and well stocked. Someone even came around and offered us mints after our meal was finished. Overall it was an excellent experience other than my fish being a little too cooked, but mine was the only one and I can't fault Ivars entirely for that.

Rarely do I give 5/5....I'm like that. 😉. But tonight I had just a great experience here. It was an icy Thursday evening, the threat of snow again keeping people at home. My wife and I walked in and were greeted by a lovely young woman, Kendall. She was all smiles. She took our order of the True Cod and Chips. I commented that I liked her attitude and she said "This is a great place to work, truly. It's hard to be in a bad mood working here.". I love this. We got our drink at the self serve soda machine and sat down. The restaurant was squeaky clean. Everything was spotless. Tables, chairs, seating all in great shape. This is one of the few Ivars I’ve yet to eat at.. so when I passed by.. I just had to.. and yes it is just as amazing as the other locations. The size of the fish is about 3/4 the normal size that I’ve seen anywhere else but overall the quality is good. It was fresh and prompt.
