It's Greek To Me

Despite living just a few blocks away for years, my fiancé and I finally decided to try out It's Greek to Me. With temperatures hovering in the teens, the restaurant was quiet with only a couple of tables occupied, which meant parking was effortless and the staff let us take our pick of where to sit. The space was notably clean and had a welcoming vibe, making it a comfortable refuge from the cold. We started our meal with an array of appetizers, beginning with the Dolmades. I usually order these as a benchmark for authenticity, while these were perfectly fine, they didn't quite reach the top tier of others I've had. We had an excellent experience at It’s Greek To Me in Fort Lee. The food was outstanding from start to finish. One of the biggest surprises was the bean soup it’s not ordered often (according to our server), but it was absolutely delicious and something totally new for us. Everything else was just as good: the fried zucchini croquettes, calamari, feta puffs with sriracha honey, Greek salad, NY strip steak, and the grilled seafood platter with shrimp, calamari, and octopus. For dessert, the baklava was classic and perfect, and the Greek yogurt with honey and walnuts was incredible. The service truly stood out. Benny took amazing care of us and made the entire experience even better attentive, kind, and professional. Parking is available, which is a huge plus in Fort Lee. We would 100% come

I stopped here for dining and really enjoyed my experience. The staff was very friendly, quick to take my order, and offered helpful recommendations. The restaurant has a cozy small-town style decoration that makes you feel relaxed right away. I ordered the Souvlaki lamb platter, which came with lamb meat, warm pita bread, cucumber salad, chili pepper, onions, and half a tomato. I swapped the rice for French fries, and everything was delicious. The cucumber salad was fresh and full of flavor. To drink, I had an orange Snapple, which paired perfectly. The music was at a comfortable level, making it easy to enjoy a nice conversation. I also noticed the staff keeps the place very clean — tables are set immediately after someone leaves, which I really appreciated. Overall, it’s a great spot

Came here for a nice light and healthy lunch so I got the lemon chicken soup and Greek salad combo. Very delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere. Most meals are also served with fresh pita bread too.

My most recent visit was wonderful. I called to make sure that my fur baby was able to dine outdoors and they said absolutely ! The waiter was even kind enough to provide him with water without me asking. Delicious food at an affordable price and great customer service ! Bhazi approves ! I recently dined here and I was absolutely satisfied. Due to the circumstance they provided outdoor dining for their customers. The food was delightful and the service was wonderful. Be mindful customers to tip well ! The waiters and waitresses are working extra hard under the hot sun and heat.
