I placed an order for a lemon pound cake on Saturday, with a gentleman. The cake was scheduled to be picked up on Monday. When I called to tell them I was running late, I was told you must have the wrong bakery because there is no order here. After checking my phone records, I confirm no this the correct bakery. The young lady placed me on hold then Henrietta or something her name was pick up the phone and rudely asks what is the call about? I explained what i am certain she already knew she states, I am waiting to hear from the other bakeries. So, I ask are cakes not made at your location and she says no all cakes are delivered her from the Butler Street location. I provided my name again and phone be sure she said she will call me back. After about an hour, I called them back an

First time trying and i’m pressed. Store is clean and wide selection. Bread was amazing. Vanilla cake was perfect crumb but icing was too sweet for my liking. Service was quick.

I was born and raised with Italian Peoples bread. Still love to go there when I have time to drive. Is it different, sure but the bread is still my favorite. The bread has not changed just the people. (Im 62 if that adds perspective) He he b4 Mercerville we used to go to the burg every Sunday morning.

Employees are very friendly, helpful and nothing is too much for them to handle with a pleasant smile . I rate Italian Peoples Bakery the best in all Mercer and Burlington counties.
