It Takes The Cake

My husband and I got married back in October in a small wedding with close family and friends. I wanted a bit of a fall inspired cake with the dark chocolate cake and coffee buttercream and it was AMAZING!! Everyone loved the cake both visually and taste wise! We had to guard the last piece to save in the freeze ASAP. I know the venue was a bit of a hassle to find but communication was smooth and everything looked beautiful~ I can't wait for our first anniversary to taste it again! Look how beautiful it is!!

Our wedding cake was AMAZING. Five layers with five different flavors and all of them were so moist and delicious. The design was everything I wanted and executed perfectly. Everything from the consultation, delivery and setup was easy and great.

It Takes The Cake did a phenomenal job with the cake for my son's wedding. The ordering, set up, and delivery was excellent. Jeanine was very professional, friendly, and easy to work with, and her cake designs are amazing! The cake looked exquisite and tasted delicious! I highly recommend It Takes The Cake.

While looking back on my wedding photos I just had to leave a review! Both Jeanine and her husband were extremely pleasant to work with, and we couldn’t have asked for a better cake vendor. I wanted something simple yet elegant at the same time. My biggest concern was the TASTE and boy did they deliver! I did not have ANY cake left over to bring home. Good thing we did the Anniversary cake layer. With Jeanine’s tips regarding storage, (and my moms help) we were able to eat it on our anniversary and it tasted just like it did our wedding night. It Takes the Cake was an absolute dream to work with. Jeanine went above and beyond to make sure that our vision came to fruition on our wedding day. Originally, I intended to only have our main cake made here. The process and Jeanine's lovely personality and disposition made us immediately decide to also get our groom's cake made here too. We did not regret our decision. The cakes were gorgeous and knock-your-socks off good. The cake became a buzz at the wedding and our guests were fighting to take the leftovers home. We love this vendor and insist you work with them for your events.
