My colleagues and I had an excellent time. Dinner was great! Authentic Jamaican crusine. The owner added a personal touch by introducing herself and making sure that our meals were top notch. My guest and I are definitely returning.

Server was great. Rasta pasta was great came with my favorite type of pasta. Jerk chicken came out how I wanted very flavorful. I also had jerk fires perfect with an order of shrimp. Just spicy enough I love hot spicy food.

From the ambience to the food to the staff — everything is a vibe. The atmosphere is welcoming, the dishes are packed with flavor, and the team makes you feel right at home. Definitely coming back!

Islandville is hands down my favorite Jamaican spot! I live in Bridgeport, CT, and I will happily drive 20 minutes just to get their chicken Rasta pasta, it’s that good. Honestly, every dish I’ve tried has been amazing. Chef Keem is incredibly talented, and you can taste the love in every bite. Melissa, the waitress and bartender, always goes above and beyond. Her customer service is top-notch and makes every visit even better. The restaurant is always clean, welcoming, and family friendly. Whether you’re going for a casual meal or bringing the whole family, Islandville delivers every time. Highly recommend!

Did they switch owners or just cooks? The other times I’ve had this food it was amazing! This last order was missing half of what was supposed to be in the dishes. The ingredient portions were not as abundant. The yucca patties tasted like grease. Unfortunately this will no longer be a go to place anymore.
