My husband and I were referred to this restaurant while we were visiting the Fort Lauderdale Miami area. We went this evening because we were meeting a couple. We did not go to order our food right away because we were waiting for the couple. The whole while we were waiting, I could hear two female workers behind the counter, complaining, and Jamaican slang about the fact that we hadn’t come up to order, and they don’t come to the tables to take our orders. Which we didn’t ask for. The couple was running late, so we decided to go and order our food. When we got up to the counter, the person taking our order was quite rude. She said “ we don’t come take your order. You have to come to the counter. We not serving people.” After I finally understood what she was saying, I clarified for her th

This is a delivery order. There is a promotion buy one get one free. We ordered Jerk chicken with rice and Curry chicken with rice. The curry chicken is on the salty side, the portion of the rice seems little. The jerk chicken has little portion of rice too, it is the first time I tried the jerky chicken -a famous Jamaican dish unique spicy, smoky, and tender chicken. It is an ok dish, if given an opportunity I will not try these dishes here again.

I heard about Island Tings on IG, we were visiting Miami after our family cruise. I got the Turkey necks and when I tell you , They did not disappoint! It was 🤤 delicious 😋! The cashier gave me a complimentary Ginger lemonade omg!!! Everything was 10/10 😍 The pic below is mostly leftovers, Yes .. there is so much food. Portions are very large!
