Great staff who make you feel welcomed! Good menu of atypical "bar" food. Open year round. Dock access during boating season. Steel tip dart boards upstairs.

Well it was a Sunday around 7pm, the hubby was done fishing at Buckeye lake right off brooks park and I was looking for the nearest spot to grab a burger 🍔. Pappy D’s was 5 mins away! Everything we had was delicious..Fresh and Hottt! Crab cakes for an appy, burger with fries and the shrimp dinner with tots. Oh the salad was fresh and tasty too!!! Logan the cook… mad love for ya!! Shannon … was amazing 🤩 too!! Very nice and friendly patrons in there too!!

Wow, I have really been missing out on some amazing food! First time at the Island House and we decided to start with the Island Sweet wings and waffle fries. Now I am a traditional, Buffalo sauce wing girl but this sauce…yummy is all I have to say! Finger licking good! (Sorry KFC) The waffle fries are deliciously salty with a few extra seasonings. For our meal, we shared the crab cake dinner and tacos. I know I have already said it BUT WOW!!!! Gotta have the crab cakes….with a side of chicken tacos! It was such a perfect match! The crab cakes are to die for! Something to ponder Pappy…maybe an appetizer of mini crab cakes! The atmosphere and weather were perfect. You can dine in, at the bar or outside. Sat outside, staff was quick to take care of us and checked in often. Food was delicious. Live music was setting up but we left before it got started.

This place was amazing! The food was delicious and the staff were warm and welcoming. I absolutely loved the house dressing, I bought some to bring home too lol. The prices are a little up there and the selections are small but the food, like I said was amazing and delicious.
