This place is amazing! Chris’ hosting skills were impeccable to say the least. From the delicatessen of the food to the warm customer service, this place is a must try. They have a variety of food options for meat lovers and vegetarians. We will definitely go back!

I stumbled upon Island Grill on a weekday night and it turned out to be a gem! The food is true, authentic Caribbean cuisine—flavorful, fresh, and satisfying. I had the stewed fish while my friend tried the jerk chicken, and both dishes were outstanding. The clean, welcoming atmosphere made it easy to simply enjoy our meal. Authentic Caribbean spots are rare to find, and this one exceeded expectations. I’ll definitely be back!

Was annoyed that it took almost 15 minutes to place an order and another 45 minutes to receive it but, IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT!!! The oxtails with peas and rice and cabbage was AMAZINGLY GOOD! The food smelled delicious and tasted even better. The peas and rice was a bit spicy but not too much. Oxtails had the excess fat cut off. The gravy everything just hands down the best oxtail I've had in the area. I recommend ordering ahead if you're ordering food to go. UPDATE I've visited several times and it just hasn't been that good. Last time they gave me burnt oxtails and I haven't been back since. I wish they still had the cook who worked there the first time I went 😭. Oh but the beef and chicken patties are delicious.

The food here is incredible, real authentic flavor. Coming from someone who has lived on the island, the food here is Authentic. Good vibes and healthy portions. I ate the ackee and salt fish with a double shot of Wray and nephew which is very hard to find. It did not disappoint. Vegetarian options as well.

Absolutely amazing! I had the curry goat and it was hands-down one of the best I’ve ever had — tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned with that authentic Jamaican spice. The rice and peas were cooked just right. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere was nice. I’ll definitely be back to try more dishes — this spot is a hidden gem! 🇯🇲
