Island Fritay Restaurant 1

The only spot I get Haitian fritay from. Sometimes it’s delicious sometimes it’s okay/doable. Like today, it tastes amazing 🥰

This place is a horrible establishment I had a horrible experience. People who migrate from Haiti going through chili Brazil Mexico frequents this location the old lady working in there give you bones for meat as if there’s a shortage of meat. Ms this is not Haiti give me what I paid for.

I was very excited to try the fish fritay but was very disappointed. I’ve never had soft akra and hard marinade before in my life, Plantains were cold and hard. Food was not fresh at all, I spent $30 on old food. It’s really disappointing when trying to support our fellow Haitians people and spend money, only to go to waste. Definitely will not recommend this restaurant.

My first time here was tonight. They offer both dine in and take out. The place is decorated nicely and can be a casual or date idea. So now about the food😋. It’s goood lol. It’s Haitian and I got the fried meat with rice,salad and fried plantains. It comes with gravy which is so flavorful. You can put on the rice or meat. The portions are huggeee. A medium is $14 and so worth it. Good place for family dinner. Customer service is friendly and accommodating. Go try them you won’t be disappointed 😋

We ordered ahead while being 20 minutes out & still had to wait 20 minutes to get the food once we got there 🥴🥴🥴 Not gonna lie the portions are huge but the bannan pézé could be a little crispier and they are really stingy with the pikliz but we keep going back cause it’s good!!
