Island Delights Caribbean Restaurant (Food Truck)

First time visiting this authentic Jamaican restaurant and it won't be the last! Delicious seasoning and flavors! We went as a group of 6 and didn't wait long on all our meals. We ordered Jerk chicken, Red snapper, Fried dumplings (like fried donuts a little sweet), wing dings with a home made sauce- Everything sauce- ask for it! , Oxtail, and Brown stew chicken (brown gravy). Dinners come with 2 choices of sides- red beans and rice, steamed cabbage, white rice or plantain. Pretty extensive bar selections Jamaican sodas and Coke products to drink. Plentiful seating and the staff and owner are amazingly friendly. Be sure to check out this authentic restaurant!

I was on a business trip to Winchester, VA, and was recommended to Island Delight. I ordered oxtail, curry goat and dumplings. The oxtail’s meat was so tender and tasty, was wonderful! The curry goat was amazing! Both are spicy, but not too spicy, just right! Dumplings were soft inside and crispy on the outside, and it has a likkle bit of sweetness, and it’s not dry at all! I was not even that hungry, but I ate all of the dumplings, didn’t even save one for tomorrow. Super delicious!

They are extremely nice ! I had brown stew chicken plantains and cabage words cant describe how juicy and tender and full of flavor omggggg wow !!!! Down to her cabage !!! She made me two blue Hawaiian drinks omg i felt like i was in jamaica on vaction for a second there!!! DELICIOUS !!!! Really nice people and excellent quality of food !!!!

We were looking for some good food and found this AMAZING Caribbean food place!! We got the Large Jerk chicken and large brown stew chicken entrees and both were so delicious!! 🤤 Size Large is HUGE!! We couldn’t finish our food in one seating and had to finish it the next day for lunch 😅 We will definitely order again and I am already planning on trying the curry goat and curry beef next time!!! 😊

This is "ABSOLUTELY THE BEST" Caribbean food my wife and I have eaten since we've been in Virginia. That's why we keep coming back. We've visited other restaurants offering similar food. However, none compare to Island Delights. Don't just take my word. Check it out for yourself!
