Went to this amazing restaurant for the last two days. Both times the food was fresh, hot and delicious. The owner also the server were both welcoming, friendly also helpful. This place should be packed out the door. If you want some authentic Jamaican food with real favor then I highly recommend this place, I will definitely be back✨💕
UPDATED REVIEW: naw a 5/10. Disappointing The food has not improved since my first time coming . I paid 31 dollars for a large jerk chicken plate and side of macaroni and beef patty The veggies portion was very small, the chicken didn’t have any jerk sauce on it or on the side . I had to add my chicken em sauce once I got home . the rice was hard like it was left overs . I’m not sure if they gave me beef or a chicken patty by accident but it did not taste nor look like a beef patty & with the lack of flavor i couldn’t tell whether it was beef or chicken tbh. The plantain that comes with it was not sweet at all. Would I come back … probably not .
The ladies running the restaurant are super friendly and cheerful. My wife especially liked the plantains and the spicy chicken. I especially liked the rice and vegetables. The portions are more than generous.
The food here is incredible! We've had the curry chicken, jerk chicken, and stewed beef. All was finger-licking good. The plantains... some of the best I've ever had. The portions are hearty. My husband and I shared a plate and still had food left over the next day. The customer service is A1. Always service with a pleasant attitude and a warm smile. We've been here 3 times in the last 2 weeks. It's safe to say that we are repeat customer and will be for a very long time.
I liked the food here but the lady at the counter was very unfriendly when I came 2 weeks ago. Today I ordered another surprise bag from Too Good To Go and only found out that the restaurant is closed on Mondays. They should’ve stopped selling so many meals if they know they are closed. And I was not the only one who got tricked. Sad…😔
