Island Boyz Conch Shack

Not my type of conch fritters. I've had plenty of conch fritters and never seen them made like this. Very dry as if I'm eating hush puppies or Jamaican fritters with a minimum amount of conch and peppers 😩.I even went to ask if this is how they make it and was told yes. This is from someone who eats them on a regular at other restaurants. I was disappointed, I was expecting much more from here.

We ordered the cracked conch and fries and a whole fried snapper. The conch was cold, hard, and rubbery, the fish was tiny and tasted old, and the fries were drenched in grease.

I went to two different locations that where advertised. It was a bit confusing since we had to pay to get into the 1st place and they were not there. But once we found them the cracked conch was really good, the food is seasoned well! I also ordered conch fritters but I didn't enjoy these as much because the conch was very chewy.

Great hole in the wall type of restaurant. The food is phenomenal. Sea scallops are cooked to perfection, they grill a filet of fish perfectly everytime as well. Definitely put this place on your list... it is small, very limited seating. It's full within 30 minutes of opening.
