Isla del Mar Restaurante - Papillion

The place was quiet but was pretty lively quickly. The sushi and margaritas were ordered were delicious. This location is smaller than south O but it's a beautifully decorated restaurant. We'll be back. Happy hour!!

We had a great birthday dinner at Isla Del Mar! The birria fries were so good, and the sushi was all incredible. Our server, Thania, was also the best!

The service was terrible. I asked for a beer that was on tap, but I was told it wasn’t available—even though I watched it being served to other guests. I don’t believe he understood us well, even when I showed him a picture of what we wanted, pointed to what we wanted, saw the draft beer we wanted being given to other guests, and showed a picture of the kind of beer we wanted in draft to our waiter. I requested refills on the chips and salsa but never received them. the soy sauce for the sushi was not brought out nor ever given. There were no refills on water. Sat empty. My friend was not given a water while everyone else got one? because he requested a beer that our waiter couldn’t understand. Wowza, we tried the birria pizza. It was fantastic! The price was great for what you get. It could feed three adults reasonably. The sauce it came with and the lime made it much better too. I can't wait to come back. My wife had there birria pizza prior and it was as good as she remembers. The waitress provided great service too. I recommend this place.

This was my first time coming to Isla Del Mar- Papillion and it was amazing! My family loved it! Authentic Mexican food! My daughter always ways black beans and they did not have it. Well, she tried the refried beans for the first time in her life and absolutely loved it! The place is clean and the food is homemade. Daniel the GM was so attentive to all the details and made us feel welcome. Thank you Daniel! This will be our go to for a good homemade Mexican atmosphere! We’ll definitely be back!
