Ishpeming Carnegie Library

Hands down one of the cutest libraries. It has a basement full of great kids books of all kinds as well as a selection of interactive toys and puzzles. Upstairs is the Teen/YA/Adult section which has a cool upper level that has a glass floor. It has a great selection of teen, young adult, and adult books as well. The librarians are incredibly nice and helpful wnd will help you get the book that you're looking for one way or another.

This library is top notch! The staff is amazing and makes you feel so welcomed even with small crazy humans tagging along. Their children's section is on a separate floor, and my kids loved it so much they didn't want to leave! We can't wait to participate in the summer activities that they put on! Absolutely would recommend spending an afternoon here!

It's a very nice library and the staff are very kind. Their is never a line and if you need to checkout a book you can be in their for at most 3 minutes. I went in their one time to return a book and I was done in about 1 minute. They have a lot of selection, but it's a little depressing how small it is, and their isn't a parking lot for it.

A comprehensive and creative library with wonderful, thoughtful staff. I grew up in Ishpeming and always appreciated the library and do even more so now that I travel back to the area for long stretches. My two kiddos, who are used to a much bigger urban library system, have a great time at Ishpeming's Library and love their Children's Section and selections. The librarians have made such wonderful recommendations to them and are equally expert and supportive. Thank you, Ishpeming Carnegie Library!

Helpful and kind staff. The computer system is okay to get what you need done. If they don't have what you need book wise, they have the option of ordering/borrowing it from another local library from what I understand
