The real rating overall would be 3.5, but since Google doesn't do decimal points, 3 it is. First off, atmosphere is a solid 4, even a 4.5. It's very trendy with some unique features. It can be a little noisy because of the open concept, but you can still carry on a conversation. They weren't terribly full for 7:30 on Friday night, so when they are busier, I would imagine it's noisier. Service would be a 3.5 but in this case, I'm rounding up to 4 because our waitress was top notch. The hostess that seated us when asked to move us to the longer bench and chairs table area said they tried to reserve that for parties of 4 or more. Okay. We get that, but they were not busy, and they did not get busier through the course of our meal. Some accommodation to the request could have been had. So, 2

Stopped in for lunch from out of town. Found it on google. It was delicious! We started with fried green tomatoes served on Gouda grits. Yum!! I had the Irrationale burger. It was so good. My wife had the Mediterranean salad with steak medallions on top. 10/10 recommends coming here for a delicious lunch at a great price!

We love this place and order takeout typically once a week. While the food is good, they need to work on picking up the phone. Many times when we’ve called to place an order, the phone rings and rings until you get a beep but can’t leave a message. You then have to call back sometimes multiple times before someone answers and a few times they answer with just “hello”, no “thanks for calling Irationale, how can I help you?” for example. Also, we have ordered food that comes with fries many times over the past year or so and the last few times we’ve done this, the portion has been very skimpy. While the food has been very good, much improvement can be made in the takeout order/phone answering department.

Cool looking restaurant with fairly decent food. Our server did a good job throughout the meal. We ordered steak medallions, a double burger and chicken tenders. The steak medallions were good and came with pretty good fries. Our double burger was decent as well but the redskin mashed potatoes were a bit dry. The chicken tenders were somewhat reminiscent of what Chili’s had about 15 years ago. They are house made along with the honey mustard according to the menu. I really enjoyed them, the sides not as much. The slaw lacked flavor tots were a tad greasy. We also ordered the pretzels and beer cheese appetizer. It was phenomenal, that beer cheese was delicious. I could pick that up and drink it lol. Overall, we enjoyed our meal.

The entrance to get into the restaurant is a tad confusing but we figured it out when we were leaving. We started with the fried mushrooms w/ horseradish sauce. So good but so hot! I burned my mouth lol. My husband ordered the bison burger which was huge and his side was their seasoned fries. He said everything was delicious! He also ordered a draft beer and loved it. I ordered the smash burger w/ caramelized onions and my side was the duck fat tater tots. Everything was so flavorful and delicious! Our server was very nice and stayed on top of our drink refills. We missed the rush so it was nice and quiet, which we liked. I loved the unique decor of the restaurant. The whole space is light and airy.
