Iron Nugget

This is probably one of our other favorite restaurants in the Hurley area. Their food is always good. The service is good. The only thing is you want to make sure to have a reservation during the weekend, or you may have a long wait until you get seated

5 stars all the way around. We loved this place so much we went 2 nights in a row! The service is so great, servers are so attentive and kind. The food is flavorful, great portions and very customizable (so many sauce options). Everything is fresh too. My cranberry mule was delicious and crispy with lots of cranberries on top. They also have a fantastic bourbon selection. The food came out hot, not scalding, but hot, both nights. It was a complete 180 from Don and GGs, which we went to the night before. Don't go there. Go to Iron Nugget. But make sure to make a reservation.

Everything was delicious here! From their homemade soup to the entrees! The potato soup was so tasty and full of flavor! The homemade gnocchi’s were excellent. They definitely do not short you! They were like little pillows of love in a savory fondue sauce. Wish I had room for lava cake. Thank you Iron Nugget and Sage for the great service. We will be back!!

Even though it was almost an hour wait for us, it was a Friday evening and surely worth the wait time. The service was amazing considering how busy it was. The food came out hot and fresh, super blown away with our dinner this evening! The ambiance was also pleasant and comforting where my husband and I could enjoy our food and not have to shout to hear each other.

Came in a Friday night around 06:30 with reservations. Checked in around 06:20, seated at 06:24, seated for about 15 minutes before someone came to the table. The waiter did seem overwhelmed with his tables, however he was friendly. The food was good, if you order steak, the bourbon glaze. The steak by itself is missing something, it is a little boring. The French onion soup is okay, dip some bread in it. The cheese curds were good, one order is enough for 4 people. You should also order an Edmond Fitzgerald Beer because when one is in WI, you should do that in honor of that wonderful ship. 🚢 the lava cake was dry and moist in the same bites. I do not recommend that. Overall, it wasn’t a bad restaurant. I won’t be mad if I come back but I’m not in a rush to come back.
