Iron Mountain Inn B&B

The hosts were wonderful. You arrive as guests and leave feeling like you've made new friends. Joni gave us tips on where to go and where to get the best rates. Breakfast was beyond delicious! The portions were very large. Our room had a balcony where you could sit and enjoy the mountains .The construction was not an issue at all. We were here 20 years ago for our honeymoon. We hope to return and see the beautiful completed renovations.

Joni and Bill are great hosts and very interesting people. I had a great relaxing time with great mountain views. The breakfast was excellent. I will be visiting after all my Holistic Wealth Planning TM Tours. What a great place to unwind. They both are very knowledgeable about the area and are just really nice God loving people.

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful 2 night stay at the Iron Mountain BB. Joni and Bill were great hosts and the breakfasts were great. We found ourselves asking for recipes so we could recreate some of dishes from home. During one of the evenings we had an engaging conversation about the area and the community. We also enjoyed antiquing, checking out some of the trails, and peeking in an old shack on their property. This is a great retreat and we highly recommend it. Super hosts!! Bill and Joni (and Joni’s mom-Jon) are so welcoming from the moment you arrive on their mountain paradise. The leaves were changing, adding vibrant color to the stunning landscape’s overall beauty. My husband and I hiked a private trail shortly after checking in to our room. Bill kept a warm fire going each morning and night, creating a cozy ambiance. Joni asks you what time you prefer breakfast during your stay enabling more flexibility for her guests. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. There are many day trips to take advantage of from this location. The roads are newly finished and easily traveled. This bed and breakfast is a wonderful place to go to relax and enjoy the Wautauga Lake area as well. Bill and Joni have done much to improve the place since purchasing it o

What a great relaxing stay! A beautiful inn and property on top of a mountain. A beautiful, well kept 140 acre property. Joni and Bill are great. They treat you like family. I will be back on every one of my work trips on my way back from Pennsylvania.
