I work right down the street and we’ve had a couple of our annual Christmas parties here. The atmosphere is great with a homey pub/tavern feel. There is a fireplace in the main dining room which is great to sit by in the winter. They also have a side cottage where we’ve hosted our private events which is a great addition. The service was a bit slow on our recent visit. It was just my buddy and I grabbing lunch and it didn’t seem busy. I got the Beef Stew which was just okay. It was a hearty portion with big chunks of meat, potatoes, carrots, and celery. But the broth was a bit lacking in flavor. I would recommend getting their Corned Beef Bites instead. They are little corned beef and swiss triangles on marble bread and are fantastic.

This place is a staple of Brookfield. Been coming here since I was old enough to drink! Guinness on tap her is a must. Food is fantastic too. Corn beef, and cabbage egg rolls haunt my dreams. Their shepherds pie is the best in Chicago. If I could I would eat here everyday for the rest of my life. Then I could die fat drunk and happy. 🌈

I came here on a Saturday for lunch. Food was delicious, we had ordered the cheese curds, pretzel bites, chicken wings and steak tacos. Flavor was great, but I was shocked that the bone in wings were tiny. Wish they bigger for the price of them. The service was excellent. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and sat down. Our waitress was very attentive and personable. Overall, we had a great time here and will be coming back soon.

We had such a great experience during our visit! From the moment we sat down, Ciara went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. She was friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care that we were having a great time. Drinks were always full, food came out hot and on time, and she checked in just the right amount not too much, not too little. You could tell she takes pride in her work and loves what she does. Martin was also an absolute blast! He brought great energy to the table, cracked jokes, and made the whole experience even more fun. The two of them worked together seamlessly and really made us feel welcome. It’s rare to find service this consistent and enjoyable these days.
