This little spot is a gem. The food was excellent, and the service was superb. The prices are reasonable, and the food is perfectly cooked, an enormous meal. The tea was served piping hot in a small pot; we enjoyed our meal and planned to return. They have a variety of Irish goods for sale, and we stocked up on quite a fair bit. The grocery items are reasonably priced, also.

The Irish Coffee Shop on West Chester Pike is the home to a hearty and economical breakfast with a sincere and loving nod to Ireland. Be aware that parking on WC Pike can be a burden and The Irish Coffee Shop does not have strong "curb appeal", but you do not want to miss this Havertown experience. In addition to breakfast & coffee, The Irish Coffee Shop carries a grocery aisle of hard-to-find, crowd-favorite Irish goods including teas, sauces, chocolates and snacks. The girls had French Toast with American bacon and sausage. They drank hot chocolate with what appeared to be homemade whipped cream. I went for the Traditional Irish Breakfast, (half portion). Nice pleasant Irish coffee place with an ambience that looks like it is frozen in the ninety's. We went for breakfast and the food was delicious and inexpensive. Would recommend getting curry sauce to pair with your fries. Also liked the service given by the staff. They were fast and friendly. This place is also a shop containing lots of items that you won't find in the big grocery stores. So check them out too.

Great small Family run restaurant serving all the tastes of Ireland with an extensive selection of sweets, soft drinks, food, teas and breads to take home with you. Caesar and his staff serve the perfect cuppa, and make fresh hand cut chips (fries) that are reminiscent of a chipper in Ireland. Highly recommend. The family and I go quarterly to stock up, and they even carry specialty items around the holidays (Easter eggs, turf & briquettes, Christmas pudding and biscuits, or holiday baskets that have the lot). Best place to get rashers, sausages, black and white pudding, and even sausage rolls. Go try it for yourself!

Having had their Irish and Mexican breakfast dishes, this place excels at both. Can’t go wrong with whatever you are feeling for the day! And get some Irish snacks/food staples on your way out!
