Out showing homes to our daughter and needed to find a place to eat. Wow I am glad we ate here! My daughter says the ribs are the best she has had and I 2nd that opinion! Everything was good. Coleslaw, ribs, Mac and cheese, cornbread, pulled chicken! He was sold out of everything else which means they are busy. I need an excuse to come back here. Owner was very pleasant. You need to go you will not be disappointed!

This place is def the BEST place in Elwood to eat flat out💯 Food is always AMAZING!! Customer service is always AMAZING!! Also always a laid back relaxed place! Love this place! Can’t wait until they get there bigger place! But there still open at original until they move! Go get your BBQ!!!!

My husband and I stopped in our way through and man it didn’t disappoint!! We got the brisket on the Mac and cheese bowl and it was amazing and a 1/4 ribs to try. Then we decided to get a loaded baked potato and another Mac and cheese bowl for the next day and the potato had a wonderful smoked flavor . Can’t wait to come back and try something else

What happens when Waco, Houston and San Antonio walk into Irion’s Smokehouse? First of all, we know good BBQ. It is in our blood. After relocating to Indiana, we had sadly only encountered BBQ imposters. Because of that, our expectations today were set low. One bite in, and we were transported straight back to the Lone Star State. Moist, flavorful, and wrapped in that smoky magic that only true BBQ can deliver, Irion’s absolutely nailed it. Our Texas taste buds were enchanted. 5 Big Texas Stars. We will definitely be back and we are bringing our visiting Texas family when they are in town.
