Inn On the Hill

A very lovely BNB in Salt Lake City. Rooms very well appointed, comfortable bed and lovely bathroom, rain shower and tub. Downstairs areas are beautiful and relaxing. Place well-suited for younger folks with no issues with their legs. My room was on the top floor and 40 stair steps. No elevator-not fun. |(Misc: Elevation is 4450 ft so the altitude may be an issue. Average Salt Lake City altitude is 4300’.) Breakfast is wonderful and staff very friendly.||Issues that need to be addressed. Hotel signage is terrible. Difficult to find the lower and upper parking areas, especially at night. I came to the door and had to wait for someone to let me in as all doors are locked. The person who checked me carried my bag to my room but didn’t explain how to operate room TV, where to find the internet

For the price this can't be beat. Rooms were spacious, well decorated, and very well maintained. Staff were super friendly and accommodable, even finding us a charger when we realized we left ours at home. Complementary breakfast was superb, if I could I'd come back just to grab a weekend breakfast. Seriously good stuff, better than I've had at any other hotel.

Compliments to Chef Angel; the huevos rancheros breakfast options were so good. I'm super thankful they did the Instagram giveaway, which allowed me to experience this place. It's a gem in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City with a beautiful, breathtaking view.

We love this place and have been coming here for years. It is 100% beautiful old class. You could spend a long time just looking at the gorgeous woodwork and stained glass, and architectural detail in this grand old mansion. The rooms are well done. I gave it four stars for rooms because some are better than others. The breakfast is always excellent, and the staff are always cheerful, professional, and ready to take care of you. They have even improved their parking just recently. The location is fabulous, right downtown. This place is so, so much better than some soulless hotel, and probably less expensive.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Inn on the Hill!! In fact, I don’t think we could chose to stay anywhere else - while visiting Salt Lake City. =) The historic house has SO much charm (cozy/quaint furniture and decor, antique low lighting, classical music playing, etc.)… And hands down the BEST breakfast we’ve EVER had at a B&B. Check-in and check-out was super easy! In addition, the house is within walking distance to the capital and downtown attractions. I’m kind of sad we could only stay one night… Highly recommend this B&B!
