Inn On Columbia

Our group of 5 enjoyed a fabulous weekend at the Inn on Columbia. The inn is very thoughtfully designed and has a special flow. Two of us stayed in the room in the main inn and three of us in carriage house. The major highlights were the warmth and hospitality of our hosts (including helping with restaursnt and hike recommendations); Madeline's exquisite breakfasts; and the comfortable common spaces (in the carriage house and the main inn) where our group could gather. Really a gem and we would 100% return. Also very central yet quiet.

We just returned from our weekend in Ithaca staying at the Inn on Columbia. Madeline and Ken were warm and gracious hosts. Madeline went out of her way to make our stay extra special with great suggestions for wineries and waterfalls to visit. Her breakfasts were truly exceptional! As a dog friendly bed and breakfast, we just loved Ken and Madeline’s dog, Olive!

An extraordinary extended weekend experience in Ithaca! We stayed in the Gazebo space and were so pleased with everything. We started calling it "The Love Shack" because it was so private with our own hot tub and fireplace in a magnificent venue designed by architect Kenn. Madeline and Kenn could not be nicer hosts and provided us with such a wonderful experience even mapping us out with very specific tourist recommendations that only locals can give. And the breakfasts that Madeline (who is a chef) provides are exquisite and second to none with fresh everything! If you're lucky, you will be greeted by Olive, Milton and/or Ollie; the local/neighboring canines who are also friendly. The hosts were very kind! The location was perfect! Everything you’d want to see in town is within walking distance of the inn. The room was unique and beautiful!! I wish I had spent an extra day there :) Highly recommend

Hosts and owners, Madeline and Kenn, are wonderful role models and we feel very grateful to have met them. They have a wonderful work ethic which inspires others to do more too. Inn On Columbia is a gorgeous property with beautiful finishes. Olive is a very lovable dog who brought a lot of love to our mornings on the patio. We were fortunate to stay in the Gazebo which is really sweet and secluded. The marble tile in the spa bath was very cooling during the recent heat wave. The breakfast was cooked to a very high standard. I’m very inspired to add goat cheese to my scrambled eggs now. Unlikely mine will be as amazing though 😊 The hosts are very familiar with the neighborhood and Madeline had very helpful suggestions all of which we enjoyed. The Cornell Botanical Gardens are stunning. A
