Inn At Whitefield

My wife and I stopped into The Inn at Whitefield for dinner and had a pleasant experience overall. She ordered the chicken Marsala and pumpkin bisque, while I went with the beer-battered chicken breast with mashed potatoes (a recommendation from our server). The food was hearty, flavorful, and exactly what you’d expect from a cozy New Hampshire inn—comfort food done right. The service stood out—our server was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome. While the restaurant could’ve been a bit cleaner, it wasn’t a deal breaker. Overall, the warm atmosphere, kind staff, and tasty food made for a satisfying evening.

Great place for dinner! We enjoyed the salmon, prime rib, mashed potatoes, and loaded potato soup! We’ll definitely be back.

The Whitefield Inn is like going back in time. It's an old building with much character, and both excellent food and service. We went there for Valentine's Day and had an excellent dinner, without the up charge pricing others were offering. It's our "Cheers" location, and never disappointing.

The food was not good the services not the best the server was good but the host she was not nice.i had chicken finger and fries and the chicken fingers. Let's just say I had one bit and they went back for being a restaurant you use Dyson chicken tender. Even better when I sent back some lady came out what was wrong. She said (the food isn't for everyone) never again Oh did I say how long it took us to order and wait for food

I can't really rate the food or the service of the working staff. We never sat down to eat. We had a 5pm reservation for a special anniversary. We were at the Weathervane theater and just walked over after an afternoon show ended to see if there was a chance we could eat early. It was about 3:30. We walked in and they looked closed and a young woman was setting tables. Just to confirm I asked if they were open. She turned to an older woman who confirmed they were closed but then assumed or guessed who we were and she was correct. I asked if we could eat a little earlier when they open. She said about 4:30 come back. I said no problem. Then a man walking through the dining room shouted at me we open at 5. I said, no problem, we'll just come back at 5. The older lady said yea
