20oz iced americano right before a flight? Sure, why not! After a whirlwind trip exploring Arizona, Emily and I were heading back to reality but not without one more stop for caffeine in the Mesa airport. I opted for my classic Americano while Emily got her usual latte. The menu is pretty limited but I assume that is due to the fact its in the airport and not a proper coffeehouse. They did have some baked goods if you needed something to top your tank off before flying. We grabbed our drinks and took off to our gate to wait for our flight. The Americano was really good if lacking just a bit of flavor, but Americanos generally only have hints of flavor so no real surprise there. We got a peppermint latte and a dark chocolate iced latte. The peppermint latte was perfectly hot, not too sweet, and made quickly. The chocolate iced latte was also very good. We chose this over Panera at the airport before our flight and we were extremely satisfied!

I’m a frequent flyer and I have tried this place a couple of times. Each time was meh. The sizes or odd. The coffee is super strong and tastes a little muddy. Both came extremely hot. And for some strange reason they were out of Mocha mix, but happy to give me white chocolate as a sub. It was okay but for the most part it was coffee I could taste. The young ladies were polite, but didn’t offer a smile, an apology, a friendly holiday spirt, and they seemed to be lacking training, experience, understanding, support, supplies, leadership, organization. With a little training it would be a great little coffee spot.

The service was excellent. I grabbed a cafe latte and my son a hot chocolate. The taste was great. It wasn't as hot as I hoped for but hot enough to still enjoy.

It’s very apparent the girl working as cashier was bringing entire team down. She should not be in the service industry. The coffee was decent enough. We would tell the other workers were trying hard but had some difficulty fulfilling orders and it wasn’t very busy. Some training could go a long way here. And this business would be better off with one less employee. She was truly not pleasant to put it nicely.
